Pax Earth Japan had a monthly meeting on December 6th, 2009 at St. Dominic Catholic Shibuya Church in Tokyo. Totally 15 members were present.
Since we were scheduled to have a reporting meeting with our sponsor in Japan on December 12th, we discussed on the evaluation of year 2009’s activities. This year we could received two members from Nepal in May and we could dispatch five crews to Nepal in September. These two exchange programs were success in terms of doing services in the society and sustaining our continuous relationship.
We have also talked about the future project of Pax Earth Nepal. We have gone through the budget & task proposal sent by Mr. Sujan Koirala, Pax Earth Nepal. We were thankful to receive these well written documents and decided to deepen the discussion on this new challenges. Although we have very tight budget but we all agreed to jointly create a new social business by Pax Earth members.
In the end of the meeting, Mr. Yohei Ueda turned in their Nepal project report to Pax Earth Japan. All the board members of Pax Earth Japan unanimously agreed to help these students members financially.
The next Pax Earth Japan’s monthly meeting will be held on January 17th, 2010.
