The Board Meeting of Pax Earth Nepal (PEN) was held on Saturday November 22, 2008 at Mrigasthali Café, Pashupati, Kathmandu at 3PM. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Sujan Koirala, President, of PEN. President Mr. Koirala welcomed all the members and guests for the meeting. Mr. Manohar Sapkota, Secretary, read the minute of the last meeting of Pax Earth held on October 18, 2008 which was passed by all the members.

The meeting discussed and made the following decisions:

  1. The Board reviewed the past programmes and events of PEN (i. Warm up camp 2008, ii. Certificate distribution ceremony, iii. Deusi/Bhailo 2065 and iv. Picnic) and agreed to make the upcoming events more effective and more participative.
  2. The Board agreed to organize two events in this winter: i, a winter camp for school students and ii, a youth leadership development camp. The Board appointed Mr. Shreebatsa Basnyat as the coordinator and Mr. Prem Shah as Joint Coordinator for the winter camp, however, the next board meeting will appoint the coordinator for the 2nd youth leadership development camp.
  3. Mr. Sujan Koirala handed over NRs. 4950.00 (the fund collected from Deusi/Bhailo 2065) to Mr. Bal Gopal Shrestha.
  4. The Board decided to get the PAN (Permanent Account Number) of Pax Earth as the deadline of temporary PAN was over.

After the meeting, President Mr. Koirala handed over the Letter of Appreciation to Mr. Rajan Dulal, Proprietor of Rajan Bag Udyog for his outstanding contribution in providing logistic support for “1st Youth Leadership Development Camp” (a Warm Up Event of Pax Earth).
President thanked all the members present and adjourned the meeting.
