A group of four junior students of Keio University (Japan) led by Miss Satomi Tsuneta visited Nepal between September 1 and September 8, 2009. Miss Erico Iwasaki, Mr. Shunsuke Fuji and Mr. Yosuke Asano were the other members of the group. PEN team helped them explore Nepal.

On 2nd September morning, PEN President Mr. Sujan Koirala welcomed them at the Fuji Hotel, Thamel. In the afternoon, PEN Vice President Shreebatsa Basnyat took them to Bouddhanath Temple and Pashupatinath Temple. On 4th September morning, they could visit Patan and see the metal crafting. Mr. Kesh Ratna Bajracharya had arranged a visit to a metal crafting place at Patan. During September 5 and September 7, they visited Pokhara, a beautiful city of Nepal with Harihar Sapkota.

On 7th September evening, President Koirala hosted a dinner for Japanese friends at his residence. On 8th September evening, they left for Japan. On behalf of PEN, President Koirala gave a token of love to each member. President Koirala and Vice President Basnyat bid them farewell at the airport. In spite of having a short time for their visit, they could enjoy every bit of their stay in Nepal. The whole visit was coordinated by PEN Executive Member Harihar Sapkota.
