Pax Earth Japan hold a monthly meeting at a conference room of ITS Kenpo in Okubo, Tokyo on August 9th, 2009. We welcomed totally 9 members. The meeting started at 13:00 and ended at 17:00. The meeting started with recent news of each member. One member reported his marriage and the another reported his wife’s pregnancy. The meeting started with these happy and warm news.
The main topics of this meeting were as follows.
- Accouting of PEN Invitation Program on May & June 2009
- Progress Report of Pax IV Hyper’s Nepal Visit on September 2009
- Progress Report of Profit-Earning Projects such as Creation of Someone’s Website
- Discussion on Future Educational Programs of PEJ in Japan
All the member attended in the meeting agreed to support Pax IV Hyper’s young members from financial and technical points of view .　Their visit to Nepal would be a very precious chance for Pax Earth to exchange human and idea between two countries. We also discussed how to increace our presence in Japanese NPO sector and in Japanese Scout movement sector. Some members promised to make a planning sheets on these assignments by next monthly meeting which will be held on September 6th, 2009.
There are many problmes to solve in this world. We have to choose some of the problems which can be solved by our efforts in a sustainable manner.
